1,2,3) About which thing; that great, important news over which they have different beliefs are they asking one another?
4) Certainly not as they think! They will know soon.
5) And certainly not as they think! They will know soon.
6,7) Have We not made the earth a cradle and the mountains as stakes?
8) And We formed you in pairs.
9) And We made your sleep a rest.
10) And We made the night a clothing.
11) And We made the day a time to make a living.
12) And We built the strongholds over you.
13) And We made a lantern that illuminates.
14,15,16) And We sent down a pouring water from condensed clouds so that We may bring forth grains, vegetation, intertwining vineyards and gardens with it.
17) Indeed, the day of Distinction will be a predetermined gathering date.
18) On that day, the Sur will be blown;[#318] and you will come in groups right away.
19) And the heavens/universe will be opened and become gateways.
20) And the mountains will be moved, become mirages.
21,22) Surely, Jahannah [Hell] will be a place of ambush as a final destination for the transgressors.
23) They will remain there in distress/famine.
24) They will not taste a coolness and a drink therein.
25,26) They will only taste a scalding water and pus as an appropriate recompense for what they did.
27) Indeed, they were not expecting the account.
28) And they denied Our Ayat/evidences/signs with denials.
29) But, We enumerated all things and wrote.
30) -Now taste! From now on, never will We increase anything but the punishment for you.-
31,32,33,34,35,36,37) Surely, there will be shelters/places of salvation; well-watered vineyards-gardens, grapevines, sprouts of same level; flower gardens, full water containers for those who have entered under the guardianship of Allah as a recompense and a sufficient blessings from your Rabb; Rabb of the heavens/universe and the earth and all that is between them; Rahman [Allah; the One Who shows great mercy on the earth to all living beings that He created]. They will not hear vain talk and lies there. -They are not capable of speaking before Him.-
38,39,40) On the day when the revealed Ayat and the Wahy [Revelation] will stand in rows as witness, no one but those whom Rahman [Allah; the One Who shows great mercy on the earth to all living beings that He created] allows will speak. And that one who is allowed will say what is correct: "This is the true day. So, whoever wills may seek refuge in his Rabb. Surely, We have warned you with a close punishment". On that day, a man will see what his two strengths/wealth and acquaintances have sent forth/a man will face what he did and the infidel; the one who consciously denies the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb will say: "Oh, I wish that I were a dust".
