1) O you who have believed! Fulfill the contracts. When you are untouchable [during hajj/high theological education], flawless/collarless of four-legged, split-hooved, ruminant and grazing livestock except for what will be recited to you are made halal/permissible to you, while hunting not being permitted. Surely, Allah decrees what He wills; imposes any law He wishes.
2) O you who have believed! Do not disrespect the evidences of Allah, the haram/forbidden month, sending food to those who fulfill hajj [pilgrimage], marks attached to the animals that are sent so those who fulfill hajj [pilgrimage]/those who receive high theological education therein will eat and those who wish to fulfill duty of hajj [pilgrimage]/visit Bayt al-Haram seeking for the favor and approval of their Rabb. When the restriction upon you has been released/when you have completed your duty of hajj [pilgrimage], then hunt. Do not let your hatred to a people for having forbidden you from Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. Help each other in "being righteous" and entering under the guardianship of Allah, do not help each other in that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming and animosity. And enter under the guardianship of Allah. Indeed, Allah is the One Whose punishment/penalty is very severe.
3) Made haram/forbidden to you are carcass, blood, the flesh of swine, that which has been dedicated for anyone other than Allah, that which has been strangled, shot, which has fallen from high, which has been gored by horn, which has been eaten by wild animals (except that you can clean, that you can prevent its harm out of these (including the flesh of swine)), which has been slaughtered for stone altars and to seek bounty with arrows of fortune. All of these are going astray from the righteous path. This day, those infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb have despaired of your religion. Therefore, do not fear them in awe with respect, love, knowledge. Fear Me in awe with respect, love, knowledge. This day I have perfected your religion for you, I have completed My favor upon you. And I have approved Islam as the religion for you. And whoever is in distress in starvation without inclining towards that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming eagerly, let him know that Allah is the One Who removes the sins of His servants, does not punish them and has much forgiveness, the One Who is the possessor of vast mercy.
4) They ask you what has been made halal/permissible to them. Say: "Halal/permissible to you are that which is clean and pure and games of the hunting animals that you have trained of what Allah taught you". Eat from what they catch for you and mention the name of Allah upon it and enter under the guardianship of Allah. Indeed, Allah is swift in accounting.
5) This day, that which is good and clean has been made halal/permissible to you. Halal/permissible to you is the food of the people who were given the Book, and halal/permissible to them is yours. Also halal/permissible to you is to marry free women from among the believers and marry free women from among those who were given the Book before you and make them those who are guarded, -on condition not to commit unlawful sexual intercourse and not having secret lovers- when you have given their mehir [life insurance, honor wealth][#401] to them. And whoever disrespects faith and disbelieves; consciously denies the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb; all what he did is certainly wasted and in Akhirat [Afterlife], he will be among those who suffer, lose.
6) O you who have believed! When you rise towards Salah [supporting financially and spiritually; the institutions that enlighten the community]/go in public, wash your faces and hands up to your elbows. Wipe over your heads and feet to your heels with your hands. If you are junub/out of your senses because of excessive lust, clean yourselves over and over [engage in sexual intercourse, ejaculate and bathe]. If you are ill or traveling or one of you comes out of the bathroom or have had physical contact with women/had sexual intercourse and then could not find water, seek clean earth. Then wipe your faces and hands with clean earth using your hands. Allah does not intend to make any difficulty for you but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you so you may repay for the blessings that are given to you.
7) And remember the favor of Allah upon you and the "solemn covenant" He took from you when you said: "We have heard and obeyed". And enter under the guardianship of Allah. Surely, Allah is the One Who knows what is within the hearts very well.
8) O you who have believed! Be witnesses who maintain justice and equity for Allah. And do not let your hatred for a people drag you to commit injustice. Be just because being just is closer to enter under the guardianship of Allah. Enter under the guardianship of Allah. Indeed, Allah is aware of what you do.
9) Allah has promised to those who believe and do amendatory deeds: Forgiveness and a great reward will only be for them.
10) And as for those who deny and disbelieve in Our Ayat; they are the companions of Jahannah [Hell].
11) O you who have believed! Remember the favor of Allah upon you. When a people tried to extend their hands to you and Allah withheld their hands from you. And enter under the guardianship of Allah. Then, let the believers rely only on Allah.
12) And surely, Allah took the solemn covenant of Israelites. And We sent from among them twelve supervisors/leaders. And Allah said: "I am surely with you. If you establish Salah [establish and maintain the institutions that support financially and spiritually; enlighten the community], give zaqah; the tax that the believers sincerely give as a liability of belief and duty of servitude so that the religion of Allah may be spread, maintained and Salah may be established, believe in My messengers, support them and loan Allah a good loan, I will definitely remove your evil deeds and admit you into the gardens of Jannah [Heaven/Paradise], underneath of which rivers flow. And whoever among you disbelieves; consciously denies the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb after this, he has certainly gone astray from the righteous path".
13) Then, We cursed them for they had broken their covenants and made their hearts hard. They distort the words from their proper/literal meanings. And they have abandoned a significant portion of what they have been advised. You always see a treachery from them, except for a few among them. But, you, pardon them and do not mind. Indeed, Allah likes those who produce good.
14) We took solemn covenants of those as well who say: "We are Nazarene/Christian". They have also abandoned most of that they have been reminded. And We planted among them a hatred and animosity that will last until Qiyamat [Resurrection]. Allah will soon inform them about what they did.
15,16) O People of the Book! Indeed, Our Messenger who makes clear to you most of that which you have been concealing from the Book and overlooks many has come to you. And indeed, a light and an explicit Book from Allah has come to you. Allah guides those who seek His pleasure to the paths of salamat [peace, safety, happiness] by that Book. He brings them out from all darkness into the light and guides them to the straight path with His knowledge.
17) Surely, those who say, "Indeed, Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary" have become infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. Say: "If Allah intended to manipulate/destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother and all the people living on the earth, who could do anything against Him? Only to Him belongs the dominion of all that is in the heavens/universe and on the earth and what is in between. He is the One Who forms what He wills. And Allah is the One Who is the most competent over everything".
18) And the Jews and the Christians said: "We are the sons of Allah and His beloved ones". Say: "If so, why does Allah punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are humans of what He has formed. He forgives whom He wills, punishes whom He wills. Only to Him belongs the possession and dominion of that which is in the heavens/universe and on the earth and in between. And only to Him will be the return.
19) O People of the Book! When intervals between the coming of messengers increased, there has come to you Our Messenger who conveys/makes clear to you so you may not say: "No harbinger of good tidings and no warner has come us". There has definitely come to you the harbinger of good tidings and warner. Allah is the One Who is competent over everything.
20,21) And when Moses said to his people: "O my people! Remember the favor of Allah upon you. When Allah sent messengers from among you. And He made you rulers. And He gave you that which He had not given any other people of the time. O my people! Enter the purified lands Allah has decreed upon you and do not turn back or you will return as losers".
22) They said: "O Moses! Surely there is a tyrant people therein. We will never enter there until they leave. If they leave, then we are surely those who will enter".
23) Two men[#402] from among those who fear/are scared of and upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor said: "Enter upon them through the gate. If you enter there, you will surely be the ones who prevail. And if you believe, rely only on Allah".
24) People of Moses said: "O Moses! Surely, we will never enter there as long as they are there. Then, you and your Rabb, go and fight. Surely, we are those who sit here".
25) Moses said: "My Rabb! I do not have power except over myself and my brother. Then, separate us and this people who have gone astray from the righteous path".
26) Allah said: "The purified lands have now been made haram/forbidden to them for forty years. They will wander across the earth, confused. Therefore, do not grieve over that people who have gone astray from the righteous path.
27,28,29) And recite to them the news of two people in truth. When both of them took a tool to obtain the approval of Allah and it was accepted from one of them, it was not accepted from the other. He said: "I will definitely kill you". The other said: "Allah accepts only from those who have entered under the guardianship of Himself. Even though you extend your hand to me to kill me, I will not extend my hand to kill you [I will only extend my hand to neutralize you]. Indeed, I fear Allah, Rabb of all universes. Indeed, I wish that you would obtain that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming that will arise for killing me and your own things which cause to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming so you would be of the companions of the Fire! This is the recompense of those who do wrong; act against their own good by associating others with Allah, by disbelieving!".
30) Thereafter, ego of the one whose offering had not been accepted made killing his brother easy to him and he killed him. And then he became among the losers.
31) Then, Allah sent to him a crow scratching in the ground to show him how he was burying the body of his brother. He said: "O woe to me! Have I failed by being like that crow so that I am burying the body of my brother!". Then he became of the regretful.
32) For these happen, We decreed upon the Israelites: "Indeed, whoever kills a self unless for a self or for a corruption on the earth then it is like he has killed all the people entirely. And whoever causes a self to live, then it is like he has caused all the people to live". And indeed, Our messengers came to them with clear proofs. Then, most of them are those who transgress on the earth.
33,34) The recompense of those who fight against Allah and His Messenger; who have attempted to cause corruption and make chaos on the earth -except for those who return before you prevail over them/capture and overpower them- is none but they should be killed/they should be educated, trained so that they may return or be driven away from the city life and made to be agricultural laborer in the farms, be made to work in stone pits or be cut off the covenants; commitments or be exiled from where they are. This is a humiliation for them on the earth. And a great punishment will be for them in Akhirat [Afterlife] as well. And know well that Allah is the One Who forgives much and shows great mercy.
35) O you who have believed! Enter under the guardianship of Allah so you may be saved, win victory, seek for that which will take you closer to Him and strive in His path.
36) Surely, as for the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb; even though they had all what is on the earth and the like of it with it to give as ransom to be spared from the punishment of day of Qiyamat [Resurrection], it will not be accepted from them. And for them will be a painful punishment.
37) They will wish to get out of the Fire. Yet they are not the ones who will get out. And there will be a constant punishment for them.
38) Thieves, men and women; remove their strength/strengths immediately in recompense for what they do as a preventive implementation from Allah. And Allah is the One Who is the most exalted, the most powerful, the most honorable, the invincible/the subduer, the best law maker, the One Who precludes corruption best/makes incorruptible.
39,40) And whoever repents after being unjust and amends, let him know that Allah will surely accept his repentance. Indeed, Allah is the One Who forgives much, shows great mercy. Do you not know that the possession and dominion of the heavens/universe and the earth belong to Allah? He punishes whom He wills, forgives whom He wills. And Allah is the One Who is the most competent over everything.
41) O Messenger! Let those not grieve you who say with their mouths, "We have believed" although their hearts did not believe and those among the Jews who always heed lies and who listen/spy for those who do not come to you, who disbelieve; consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. They distort words from proper usage and alter. They say: "If you are given this, take it immediately, if you are not, then beware!". If Allah intends for someone to throw him into the fire of going astray from the religion, you can not possess anything against Allah for him. They are the ones whose hearts Allah intends not to purify. For them is disgrace on the earth and for them will be a great punishment in Akhirat [Afterlife].
42) As for those who heed to lies too much, devour haram/forbidden too much; if they come to you, judge among them or keep your distance from them. If you keep your distance from them, then they will never be able to harm you. And should you judge, judge between them with justice and equity. Indeed, Allah likes those who treat in justice and equity.
43) How is it that they come to you for judgment while the Torah which contains judgement of Allah is with them and then they turn away? They are not the ones who are the believers.
44) Surely, it was We Who sent down the Torah in which was a guidance to the righteous path and a light. Prophets who were Muslims judge for the Jews by it, and those who have devoted themselves to Allah and rabbis judge by that which they were entrusted of the book of Allah and that over which they witness. Do not fear humans in awe and respect, fear Me in awe and respect. And do not sell My Ayat for a price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed; they are the ones who are the infidels; they are the ones who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb.
45) And We ordained for them in the Torah, a self for a self, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth. And for wounds is retribution. But whoever gives up his right of retribution, this becomes an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed; then they are the ones who do wrong; act against their own good.
46) And We sent Jesus, son of Mary, in the footsteps of those prophets before him, confirming the contents of the Torah which is with them. And We gave him the Bible which is a guidance as a confirmation of the contents of the Torah, as a guidance and a reminder for those who have entered under the guardianship of Allah.
47) And let the companions of the Bible judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed; then they are the ones who have gone astray from the righteous path.
48) And We have revealed to you the Book/the Qur'an with the truth that confirms, defends and protects a part of the Torah which it contains. Then, judge between them by what Allah has revealed. Do not follow their desires and inclinations by going astray from the truth that has come to you. And We have determined for each of you a roadmap/collective principles of life and a wide, illuminated path. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community with a leader yet He did not so He may wear you down/test you in what He has given upon you. Therefore, race to the good. To Allah is your return all together. Then, He will inform you about that over which you differed.
49) And judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their desires. Beware of that they would throw you into the fire by averting you from a part of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away, know that Allah intends to afflict them for some of their sins/with the suffering of their sins. And surely, many among the people are the ones who have gone astray from righteous path.
50) Or, do they seek for the judgment of ignorance? Indeed, who else can be better than Allah in judgment for a people who know?
51) O you who have believed! Do not take Jews and Nazarene/Christians as your familiars who are helpers, guides, protectors. They are familiars who are protectors, guides of each other. And whoever among you makes them protector, supervisor, governor, then he is certainly one of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide a people who do wrong; act against their own good by associating others with Allah, by disbelieving.
52) You will see those in whose hearts is disease; ill-minded people running among them, saying: "We fear that a calamity may come to us". But it is hoped for that Allah will bring a conquest or a command from Himself so they become the ones who are regretful over what they conceal within themselves.
53) And those who have believed will say: "Are they the ones who have sworn by Allah with their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?". Their deeds will be wasted and they will be who are the losers.
54) O you who have believed! Whoever among you reverts from his religion, let him know that Allah will soon bring forth a people who are indulgent for the believers and dignified, severe to the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb; Allah loves them, and they love Allah; they strive in the path of Allah and they do not fear the condemnation of those who condemn. This is a bounty that Allah gives to whom He wills. Allah is the One Whose knowledge and mercy is vast and limitless, the One Who knows very well.
55) Your familiars who are helpers, guides, protectors are only Allah and His Messenger, and the ones who have believed, who acknowledge the oneness of Allah and establish Salah [establish and maintain the institutions that support financially and spiritually; enlighten the community], give zaqah; the tax that the believers sincerely give as a liability of belief and duty of servitude so that the religion of Allah may be spread, maintained and Salah may be established.
56) Whoever takes Allah, His Messenger and the believers as his familiars who are helpers, guides, protectors, let him know that the party of Allah are the ones who are the victorious.
57) O you who have believed! Do not take familiars who are helpers, guides and protectors from among those who have been given the Book before you and the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb, those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement. If you are believers, enter under the guardianship of Allah.
58) And when you invite them to Salah [supporting financially and spiritually; enlightening the community], they take it in ridicule and amusement. This is because they are a people who do not reason.
59) Say: "O People of the Book! Do you dislike us because we believe only in Allah, what has been revealed to us and before us and most of you are the ones who have gone astray from the righteous path?"
60) Say: "Will I inform you of what is worse than that as recompense in the sight of Allah? Whomever Allah cursed and with whomever he was not pleased; from whomever He made apes, swine and worship taghut, those are worse in position and further astray from the sound path".
61) And when they came to you, they said: "We have believed". But they entered with disbelief; conscious denial of the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb and they surely left with disbelief. And Allah is the One Who knows best what they were hiding.
62) You see many of them race in that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming, in animosity and consuming haram/forbidden. How evil is that which they do!
63) Why did those who devoted themselves to Allah and religious scholars not forbid them from saying what is that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming and consuming what is haram/forbidden? How evil is that which they do!
64) And the Jews said: "Allah is stingy". -They became stingy for what they said and they were cursed.- Quite contrary, Allah is generous; He spends however He wills. And surely, that which has been revealed to you by Allah increases their transgression and disbelief; conscious denial of the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. And We cast animosity and hatred among those Jews until Qiyamat [Resurrection]. Whenever they set a fire to fight/corrupt, Allah put it out. And they strive for corruption on the earth. Yet Allah does not like the corrupters.
65) And had the People of the Book believed and entered under the guardianship of Allah, We would certainly have removed their sins and admitted them into the gardens of Jannah [Heaven/Paradise] with abundant blessings.
66) And no doubt, had they upheld the Torah, the Bible and the Qur'an that has been revealed to them by their Rabb, they would have been fed from above them and from beneath their feet [from all directions]. Some of them are a moderate people with a leader; who believe some of it and do not believe some of it, who pretend to act like they believe while they do not. How evil is what most of them do!
67) O Messenger! Convey that which has been revealed to you from your Rabb. If you do not do this, then you have not fulfilled the duty of messenger that He assigned you. And Allah will protect you from the people. Surely, Allah will not guide infidels; those who consciously deny His divinity and the fact that He is Rabb.
68) Say: "O People of the Book! You will not be upon anything unless you implement the Torah, the Bible and the rules that have been revealed to you by your Rabb". Surely, what has been revealed to you from your Rabb increases in most of them transgression and disbelief; conscious denial of the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. Then, do not grieve for the people of infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb!
69) Surely, those who have believed, those who have become Jews, Sabeans/those who were of the religion of the prophet John and Nazarenes; whoever believes in Allah and the day of Akhirat [Afterlife] and does righteous deeds, there will be no fear for them and they will not grieve either.
70,71) Surely, We took the covenant of Israelites and sent them messengers; whenever a messenger brought them that which their selves did not like, they denied some of them and killed some of them. And they thought that there would be no social fire and became blind and deaf. Then Allah accepted their repentance. Then most of them became blind and deaf again. And Allah is the One Who sees best that which they do.
72) Surely, those who say: "Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary" have certainly become infidels; the ones who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. Yet the Messiah said: "O Israelites! Worship Allah, my Rabb and your Rabb. Surely, whoever associates others with Allah, Allah will definitely make Jannah [Heaven/Paradise] haram/forbidden to him and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no one from helpers for those who do wrong; act against their own good by associating others with Allah, by disbelieving".
73) Indeed, those who say: "Allah is the third of the three" have certainly become infidels; the ones who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb. Yet there is no god but the one God. If they do not desist from what they say, a painful punishment will definitely touch the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb from among them.
74) Do they still not repent to Allah and ask forgiveness of Him? Allah is the One Who forgives much, shows great mercy.
75) The Messiah, son of Mary, is only a messenger. Messengers had passed on before him as well. And his mother is a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. Look how We make the Ayat clear to them. Then look again how they are deluded!
76) Say: "Do you worship that which possesses no power to harm and benefit you from among those that are inferior to Allah? But Allah is the One Who hears very well, knows very well".
77) Say: "O People of the Book! Do not transgress in your religion beyond the truth. And do not follow the desires of a people who have gone astray, who have led many others astray and who have gone astray from the soundness of the righteous path".
78) Those infidels from among Israelites; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.
79) They did not prevent each other from committing evil deeds. And surely how evil was that which they did!
80) You see that they make many of them, the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb their guardians, supervisors, governors. How evil is that which their selves have brought forth for them; that Allah was not pleased with them! They will abide in the punishment eternally.
81) Had they believed in Allah and the Prophet and in that which has been revealed to him, they would not have taken them as their familiars who are protectors, guides. Yet most of them are transgressors.
82) And you will find those Jews and those who associate others with Allah are the most severe in animosity against those who believe. And you will find those who say, "We are Nazarene/Christians" are the closest in affection to those who believe. This is because there are monks and ideal people among them and they are not arrogant.
83,84) And when they listen to the Qur'an that has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes become filled with tears because of that they have recognized that it is the truth. They say: "O our Rabb! We have believed so write us among the witnesses!" and "And why should we not believe in Allah and that which has come to us from the truth while we hope that our Rabb would admit us with the people of the righteous!".
85,86) Because of what they said, Allah rewarded them with the gardens of Jannah [Heaven/Paradise], underneath of which rivers flow as the ones who will abide therein eternally. And this is the recompense of those who produce good. And as for those who deny and disbelieve in our Ayat; they are the companions of Jahannah [Hell].
87) O you who have believed! Do not make haram/forbidden the pure-delicious-beautiful things which Allah has made halal/permissible to you. And do not transgress. Surely, Allah does not like the transgressors.
88) And eat as halal/permissible and pure of what Allah has provided for you and enter under the guardianship of Allah whom you believe in.
89) Allah will not hold you responsible for your oaths you take unintentionally/utter out of habit. However, He will hold you responsible for the oaths you take intentionally/under covenant; its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people with the best of which you feed your families or clothing them. Or, to free a slave. For whoever can not find anything to give is to fast for three days. This is the expiation for the oaths when you break. And guard your oaths. Thus Allah makes His Ayat clear for you so you may repay.
90) O you who have believed! Hamr/intoxicants [alcoholic drinks/drugs for pleasure/anything that dulls/numbs consciousness by any means outside of medical uses], gambling; any kind of lottery to earn without effort, marks that represent idols and persons who are worshipped; symbols and arrows of fortune; all kinds of prophecy tools and instruments are only that which give harm from the work of satan. Therefore, avoid work of satan so that you may maintain your status and be successful.
91) Truly satan wants to plant animosity among you through Hamr/intoxicants [alcoholic drinks/drugs for pleasure/anything that dulls/numbs consciousness by any means outside of medical uses] and gambling and avert you from remembering Allah, His reminder and Salah [supporting financially and spiritually; enlightening the community]. Then, are you the ones who have abstained/desisted?
92) And obey Allah, obey the Messenger and refrain, beware. If you keep away, know that upon Our Messenger is only explicit conveyance.
93) There is no blame upon those who believe and do amendatory deeds for that which they have tasted when they have entered under the guardianship of Allah, believed, done amendatory deeds and then have entered under the guardianship of Allah, believed and then have entered under the guardianship of Allah and produced good. And Allah likes those who produce good.
94) O you who have believed! Allah tests you through something, a game to which your hands and spears can reach in order to inform you about who fears Him in desolate places. Therefore, whoever transgresses after that, then for him is a painful punishment.
95) O you who have believed! Do not kill game while you are untouchable/fulfill your duty of hajj [pilgrimage]. Whoever intentionally kills it, his recompense will be an animal like the one he has killed as an offering to be delivered to Kaaba/an animal to be given as food so he may taste the consequence of his deed, -two just men among you will judge about this- or he will feed the needy or equivalent of that in fasting to compensate. Allah has pardoned what is past. But whoever repeats, Allah will maintain justice by seizing, recompensing. And Allah is the One Who is the most exalted, the most powerful, the most honorable, the invincible/the subduer, the One Who has the principle of maintaining justice by seizing, recompensing the criminal.
96) Halal/permissible to you is game from the water and eating of it as a benefit for you and the travelers. But, game from the land is haram/forbidden to you as long as you fulfill your duty of hajj [pilgrimage]. And enter under the guardianship of Allah to whom you will be gathered.
97) Allah has made Kaaba; the Bayt al-Haram, the haram/forbidden month, offering beasts as food for those who fulfill hajj [pilgrimage] and marks attached to the animals that are sent so those who fulfill hajj [pilgrimage] may eat, a standing; shaking, salvation of themselves for the people. This is so you may know as well that Allah knows all that is in the heavens/universe and on the earth and Allah is the One Who knows everything in truth.
98) Know that the punishment of Allah is definitely very severe and Allah is indeed very forgiving, very merciful.
99) Upon the Messenger is only to convey. And Allah knows that which you disclose and that which you conceal.
100) Say: "Although you like the abundance of filth [the evil people, the evil itself, evil things], not equal are the filth and the pure". Then, o you who are capable of understanding! Enter under the guardianship of Allah so you may be successful.
101) O you who have believed! Do not ask about that which will displease you when being explained. If you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, it will be explained to you. Allah has forgiven that which is past. And Allah is the One Who forgives much, forbears much.
102) Indeed, a people before you asked about these and then they became those who do not accept the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb.
103) Allah did not make Al-Bahira, As-Sahiba, Wasila and Ham.[#403] But the infidels; those who consciously deny the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb invent lies about Allah. And most of them do not reason.
104) And when it was said to them: "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger", they said: "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our ancestors". Even though their ancestors were the ones who knew nothing and did not follow the righteous path they were guided?
105) O you who have believed! Everyone is responsible for himself. When you have followed the righteous path you are guided, those who have gone astray can not harm you. The return of you all is to Allah. Then, He will inform you of that which you did.
106) O you who have believed! When death is ready for one among you, testimony at the time of bequest is two just people from among you. Or two people who are not from among your people if you are traveling across the earth and disaster of death should strike you. If you doubt, let them wait after Salah [the duty of supporting financially and spiritually; enlightening the community]. Then let them swear by Allah: "We will not sell our oaths for a price even if he should be a relative, we will not hide the testimony of Allah. Otherwise, we will be among those who cause to waste time/who delay the good/who are reluctant for the good/who harm".
107) Then, if it becomes clear that those two witnesses have committed that which causes to waste time/delaying the good/being reluctant for the good/harming, another two people among those who are the owners of the right, who are closer to the deceased, will replace them and swear by Allah: "Our testimony is truer than the testimony of those two and we have not violated anyone's rights. Otherwise, we would be among those who do wrong; act against their own good".
108) Such an oath is the most appropriate/best way for them to testify properly or to fear that oaths will not be accepted after their oaths. Enter under the guardianship of Allah and heed. And Allah does not guide a people who have gone astray from the righteous path.
109) On the day He will gather the messengers, Allah will say: "What is the response that was given to you?". They will say: "We have no knowledge; indeed, You are the One Who knows best the unseen, the unheard, the unfelt, the past and the future".
110) When Allah said: "O Jesus, son of Mary! Remember My favor upon you and your mother! When I strengthened you with the Wahy [Revelation] of Allah. You were talking to the people as a man in a high position and an adult. When I taught you the Book, the laws, rules and principles that were set forth to prevent injustice, corruption and chaos, the Torah and the Bible. When you made an object [thurible] from mud; clay [ceramic] that looked like a bird with My permission/knowledge. Then you blew into it; formed aerosol, and they [pests that spread; transmit disease] became birds/went away immediately by My permission. You removed the blindness which is not from birth, poisoning of snake, scorpion and lizard/harmful plants in the vineyards, gardens and farms by permission/knowledge of Allah. And, again with My permission/knowledge, you brought forth/revived social dead. And when you came to Israelites with explicit evidences and those who disbelieved in the divinity of Allah and the fact that He is Rabb from among them said: "This is only an explicit magic", I protected you from them.
111) And when I inspired to the Apostles: "Believe in Me and My Messenger". And they said: "We have believed!" and "So bear witness that indeed we are Muslims".
112) And when the Apostles said: "O Jesus, son of Mary! May your Rabb send down to us from the heaven/universe a table with full of food and drinks?". Jesus said: "If you are believers, enter under the guardianship of Allah".
113) And the Apostles said: "We wish to eat from it so our hearts may be assured and we may know that you tell the truth to us and be among the witnesses of it".
114) Jesus, son of Mary, said: "My Allah, our Rabb! Send down from the heavens/universe upon us a table with full of food and drinks as a festival for us and our people before and after us and an evidence/a sign from You. And provide for us. And You are the best of providers!".
115) Allah said: "Indeed, I am the One Who will send it down to you. And whoever from among you disbelieves after this, I will punish him with a punishment by which I have never punished anyone among the mankind".
116,117,118) And when Allah said: "O Jesus, son of Mary! Was it you who told people: 'Take me and my mother as two gods from among those that are inferior to Allah'?". Jesus said: "Purified are You, it is not suitable for me to say that which is not true. If I had said it, You would have surely known this. You know what is within myself, but I do not know what is within Yourself. Surely, You are the One Who knows best the unseen, the unheard, the unfelt, the past and the future! I only said to them what You had commanded me; 'Worship Allah Who is my Rabb and your Rabb'. And as long as I was among them, I was a witness over them. But when you took my life; reminded me that which I had done in the past and what I had failed to do while being obliged to, then You became the One Who observes them. And indeed, You are the witness over all things. If You should punish them, they are definitely Your servants and should You forgive them, indeed You are the One Who is the most exalted, the most powerful, the most honorable, the invincible/the subduer, the best law maker, the One Who precludes corruption best/makes incorruptible".
119) Allah will say: "This is the day when their truthfulness will benefit the truthful. There are the gardens of Jannah [Heaven/Paradise], underneath of which rivers flow for them as the ones who will abide therein eternally". Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is the greatest attainment.
120) Possession and dominion of all that which is in the heavens/universe and on the earth belong only to Allah. And He is the One Who is the most competent over everything.
